The Hopper table exemplifies the Extremis philosophy: bringing people together with thoughtful, durable and user-friendly designs. The furniture harkens back to the familiar picnic table, but translates it into a contemporary and comfortable version. Thanks to four smart boarding zones, no one has to clamber over benches or tablemates – you simply slide in without fuss.

The recognizable sloping table edge runs seamlessly into the legs and subtly refers to the region’s hopper banks, which served as inspiration. The result is a table with a powerful signature and high ease of use.

The Hopper Bench shares that same DNA. Its diagonally ascending legs, beveled top edge and clean lines make it unmistakably related to the Hopper table. With its more compact size, the bench lends itself perfectly to a smaller patio, a city garden or even a balcony. It can be placed freestanding or function against a wall or balcony wall.

Durable materials that continue to perform

The entire base of the Hopper table and bench – from legs to backrest supports – is made of hot-dip galvanized steel. This choice is anything but accidental. Hot-dip galvanizing offers extremely reliable protection against corrosion and forms a wear-resistant zinc layer that lasts for decades without significant maintenance. Just what you want for furniture that is permanently outside.

Moreover, the vibrant, slightly matted appearance of galvanized steel perfectly matches the timeless aesthetic of the Hopper line. Combined with Iroko wood or H.O.T.wood, it creates a solid and elegant set that effortlessly withstands intensive use. Visible bolted joints emphasize robustness and enhance the characterful design.

The Hopper is designed to remain functional and beautiful not only today, but many years from now – a true investment in being outdoors together.
