An assessment (testing or inspection) consists of performing an inspection against ISO 1461 and, if applicable, any other related and applicable standards, specifications and guidelines such as those that apply, for example, to Duplex.
In case of a conflict between two parties, Zinkinfo will approach the problems on a purely scientific basis. A report of each expertise will be issued. Following parties can request an expertise:
Zinkinfo will provide unbiased and impartial expertise. Zinkinfo has been promised freedom of action from the member galvanizing companies. The affiliated galvanizing companies conform to the conclusions of the expertise.
Companies that offer steel galvanizing but do not have their own galvanizing plant (so-called collectors or wholesalers) cannot use our services.
The costs are € 750.00 if the material to be inspected has been treated by one of Zinkinfo’s affiliated galvanizing companies. In all other cases, a quotation will be provided in advance. For repetitive work, it is better to request a quotation because the costs are usually lower.

A different format of the report, multiple languages or another language, any research costs by a laboratory, etc., will result in additional costs that will be borne entirely by the client.
