The industry association for
discontinuous hot-dip galvanizing
Hot-dip galvanizing on an industrial scale is nearly two centuries old. Yet galvanizing remains the most efficient way to protect steel from rust. The basic galvanizing process is still the same: dipping steel in a bath of molten zinc.
Galvanizing and circular construction are like two hands in one. Hot-dip galvanized steel scores particularly well in the various phases of the galvanized steel life cycle: make, use, reuse, remake (= repair) and recycle.

Canary Wharf Crossrail Station is London’s architectural showpiece. Foster + Partners designed a 315-meter-long building with four underground levels for the tube station and two above-ground levels with hospitality, public functions and an impressive green roof park. Absolute eye-catcher is the elegant curved roof, constructed of 1,414 laminated wooden beams and 564 nodes of hot-dip galvanized steel.
