Zinkinfo is proud to inform you that the project ‘The Green House' (Cepezed) has been successful as a Highly Commended project in the Judges’ Architectural Award in the Global Galvanizing Awards 2018. This special commendation has been made for ‘Architecture & Circular Economy’.
The Award has been made after careful consideration of 36 international projects submitted through 13 worldwide galvanizing industry associations. The judges awarded a first prize (The Silo, Copenhagen, COBE Architects) and two highly commended awards.

The Green House drew the attention of the judges especially for its exploitation of the hot dip galvanized steel’s ability to be disassembled and reassembled without damage to the coating. The architect's commitment to the principles of circular economy and recognition of steel’s unique ability for planned re-use or reconfiguration were especially noted by the judges.

Het circulaire paviljoen The Green House heeft maandag 9 april 2018 zijn deuren officieel geopend. The Green House biedt ruimte aan een restaurant met een eigen urban farm, en een vergadercentrum. Het project is een initiatief van Strukton, Ballast Nedam en Albron. Het circulaire architectonische ontwerp is vervaardigd door cepezed.
